Convenience Retail Positions - Wayne Oil Company is accepting applications for the following positions for their Hasty Mart/Ballpark Stores Convenience Stores in various locations in NC:
Store locations are as follows:Oxford, Creedmoor, Rolesville, Louisburg, Wake Forest, Garner, Clayton, Smithfield, Selma and Goldsboro.
Successful candidates must be able to provide high quality, quick and friendly customer service and suggestive selling. Must be able to operate a variety of electronic equipment that may include cash registers, or scanners; gas consoles; credit card, money order or lottery machines; hot or cold beverage dispensers and microwave ovens. Must have excellent reading, writing, math, communication skills and the ability to work well with others. Must have High School diploma or equivalent and two years of retail, convenience store or food service work experience and good consistent work history.

All Fulltime employees working 30 hours or more a week are eligible for voluntary Delta Dental insurance benefits. Insurance benefits are effective the 1st of the month following 60 days of continuous employment. Brief explanations of benefits are: Diagnostic and Preventive are paid at 100%, Basic Services are paid at 80%, and Major Services are paid at 50%. Benefit maximum per year is $1,000 for each covered person per coverage year. Calendar year deductible for Basic and Major services per year is $50.00. Diagnostic and Preventive services are not subject to the calendar year deductible.
All Fulltime employees working 30 hours or more a week are eligible for voluntary VSP vision insurance benefits. Insurance benefits are effective the 1st of the month following 60 days of continuous employment. Brief explanations of benefits are: Co-pay per visit annually is $10.00, WellVision Exam is covered in full, frames are covered up to $130.00 allowance, and contact lens coverage up to $130.
The company offers the availability for employees to purchase supplemental insurance.
Employees that consistently work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for one week of paid vacation after one year of continuous employment from their hire date and every year thereafter..

Assigned Company Holidays are Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day. Employees who work on company holidays will receive holiday pay incentives in addition to their regular pay for that day.
